Family Mountain Bike Sessions

IV Bikeworks Family Mountain Biking Skills Building Sessions

Looking for a great way to have some fun as a family, explore the outdoors, and learn about mountain biking? We are hosting our first FAMILY MTB SKILLS BUILDING SESSIONS at nearby Lake Nockamixon. This 4 week long skills building program is designed to be fun and to offer kids and families the opportunity to learn about mountain biking, improve their biking skills on a variety of terrain, and explore the local trail system. Our highly experienced coaches will take you and your family through the basics of riding off-road, get you moving safely and confidently on the rough stuff and give you advice on where to ride and what equipment is needed. During these sessions we will cover bike set-up, general bike maintenance, body positioning, braking, cornering, negotiating trail obstacles, and proper gear selection. These four sessions are designed to introduce new riders to the sport, make you a more confident and safer mountain biker, improve your mountain biking skills, and are ideal for those that want to enjoy the outdoor sport of mountain biking as a family.
